Death note canvas

Well for some reason my boss only gave me a few days this week so I have been really bored, I mean really bored. So I went to the shop a bought a blank canvas and decided to do a death note painting. As you can see it's only black and white, and it has no detail, but people who know death note don't need detail to recognize the characters. When I started the painting I then had to decide who was going to be the black side and who was going to be the white. In the end I made L the white character with the black background, and made Light the black character with the white background. I done it that way because I see white as a good and pure colour and that is L. And I see black as a dark and twisted colour so that is Light, or you can see it as good vs evil. All in all this took about half an hour to come up with the idea, and all up about an hour and a half to finish, but I still have to do another lot of black paint, just to touch it up a bit.
